Contact Hours for Nurses

This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the American Holistic Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. Approved through October 24, 2011.

This means that all nurses in every state are eligible to receive contact hours for attending these classes. Contact hours are awarded as indicated below.

We are also an approved provider (#13393) with the California Board of Registered Nursing for all of our Reiki classes.

Contact hours are awarded as follows

Reiki I - 7.5 hours - Approval Code 705
Reiki II - 7.25 hours - Approval Code 706
Reiki I/II - 14.5 contact hours

ART - 6.25 hours - Approval Code 702
Reiki III/Master - 12.5 hours - Approval Code 703
ART/III/Master - 18.25 contact hours

Karuna Reiki ® Master 18 contact hours - Approval Code 641

Pre-req. for Karuna Reiki ® Master is experience as an Usui Reiki Master. The Karuna Master class includes both the practitioner and master levels.

THE ICRT is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing Education Approved Provider (#158493-00). 

Reiki I 9 contact hours

Advanced Reiki Training 7.5 contact hours

Reiki III/Master Training 14.5 contact hours

Karuna Reiki ® Master 22 contact hours

Contact Hours Available for Occupational Therapists 

The National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc. (NBCOT®) is a not-for-profit credentialing agency that provides certification for the occupational therapy profession. NBCOT® serves the public interest by developing, administering, and continually reviewing a certification process that reflects current standards of competent practice in occupational therapy.

Reiki I & II 16 contact hours

Reiki III/Master Training 24 contact hours

Karuna Reiki ® Master 24 contact hours

How to Receive Credit

To receive contact hours, please inform the Center when registering for class that your are a licensed nurse, massage therapist or occupational therapist and that you would like to receive credit hours, and the necessary forms and paperwork will be prepared for you.

You must also: Attend all parts of the educational activity; participate in group practice sessions; and return demonstration of Reiki techniques
